This year, The Rotaract Club Of CEG launched the "Rotaract Movement" - a wheel chair donation program. Our great endeavor was to donate battery-operated automatic wheel chairs to physically challenged students and staffs of CEG, Anna University. In this regard, the Rotaract Club also conducted a 'Charity Show' that consisted of various entertaining events which included Solo Singing and Dance Shows by The Solomon Twisters...

The club has adopted a girl child and is sponsoring the education of the deprived child. A monthly review of the child's progress is also a routine.

The Gujarat earthquake also prompted us to start a relief fund and a sizable amount in cash and lots of clothes collected from around the college were donated. It should be accepted that though not a very big achievement it is the duty of every Indian to help another in distress. The club merely served to galvanize support from the college.
