Rotaract Club Of CEG's community service project,SANGARSH is going to be on a bigger scale and a bit different this time..It is scheduled on March 17th.. at Music Academy .

This year our beneficiary would be special children, i.e. mentally retarded and spastic children. This year we are planning to satisfy the needs of two homes for such special children, namely RASA and Samarpana.,click here.

THE ROTARACT CLUB OF CEG - IN BRIEF

The Rotaract Club of College of Engineering, Guindy, Anna University, Chennai is the second largest Rotaract Club in Asia.

A group of young enthusiastic engineering graduates derived from all parts of India, we're united in serving the community and enjoying new venues of fellowship. Locally based, internationally organized service club.

Rotaract is neither politically nor religiously affiliated. Today, there are some 149,000 members in more than 6,500 Rotaract Clubs around the world. Rotaract is an international organization of service clubs for men and women ages 18 trough 30 that fosters leadership and responsible citizenship, encourages high ethical standards in business and promotes international understanding and peace.

SELF RELIANCE AND SERVICE

Rotaract is a program of Rotary International, the largest worldwide community and vocational service organization.

Today there are 140,000 members in more than 6,050 Rotaract Clubs around the world. Rotaract Clubs conduct formal meetings, usually every two weeks, which feature speakers, tours of local businesses, cultural activities, discussions, and visits to other clubs. Rotaractors utilize weekends for service project work, social events, and professional development workshops.

Rotaract clubs are part of a global effort to bring peace and international understanding to the world. This effort starts at the community level but knows no limits in its outreach. Rotaractors have access to the many resources of Rotary International and The Rotary Foundation. Rotary International provides the administrative support that helps Rotaract clubs thrive.

GOALS - TO BRING UP THE GLORY

To 'Spread Goodwill and Work For Better Understanding and Closer Cooperation' among people of the our country through our service projects and to provide professional development opportunities to its members through activities such as:
