Enriching the community around through knowledge and providing them with enormous inputs for development, has always been the prime motive of ANNA FM. In association with ‘The Center for Entrepreneurship Development’, Anna University (CED-AU), ANNA FM is striving to create, coordinate, foster and develop entrepreneurial activities among young, aspiring entrepreneurs, after all “Entrepreneurs are made and not born”.

We strongly believe that entrepreneurs can be created and developed if they are trained with appropriate business acumen, entrepreneurial skills, attitude and motivation. This programme has been a part of ANNA FM right from its initial days. So far, more than 35 episodes have been made on entrepreneurship development. Various aspects of entrepreneurship have been dealt so far viz., social entrepreneurship, rural entrepreneurship, women entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship for technologists.

There has been enthusiastic participation from alumni of Anna University, Dean of CEG, students, various government organizations promoting entrepreneurship and also, participation through phone-ins from various sections of the society.

This program will continue in its efforts to help CED reach its goal of making this university “An Entrepreneur’s University” and helping the budding entrepreneurs by preparing them for business. ANNA FM’s efforts are on the similar lines of the quote by Ryan P. Allis, the founder of ‘The Entrepreneur’s Coalition’ – a non-profit organization dedicated to building an international network of entrepreneurs. He says – “Preperation is essential. Understand the game you are playing before you play”.
